Thanks for helping keep Mert's memory alive!
For those of you who didn't know Mert personally, it's a shame. Mert started Legion baseball in Aurora, Colorado in 1951. He continued his involvement as coach, administrator, and fan for over 40 years until his death. Mert absolutely loved baseball and baseball players of all ages. Many of us cut our teeth as players, coaches, and men under Mert's watchful eye. We know Mert continues to watch over us still. And to all of those new friends of baseball we know Mert and his buddies are up there helping continue his legacy in this great game of Baseball!
